Three Muller Martini Open Houses this autumn

FULL STORY
This autumn, Muller Martini is inviting its customers to three international open house events: The first event will be held under the slogan ‘Grow with Efficiency’ on 23 and 24 September at the Muller Martini Training Centre in Oftringen; the second will address the topic of ‘Labels and Flexible Package Printing - the Process’ from 28 to 30 October at the Presses Training Centre in Maulberg; and the third will be held from 18 to 20 November at the Hardcover Forum in Bad Mergentheim to mark the 10-year anniversary of the Diamant bookline.

International Open House in Oftringen (23 - 24 September)
The Primera 110 and Tempo 220 saddle stitchers will make their world premiere on 23 and 24 September, at the Muller Martini Training Center in Oftringen, Switzerland, under the motto ‘Grow with Efficiency’, alongside the Primera 160, first shown at Ipex in Birmingham in May, which will be unveiled for the very first time in Switzerland.

Just like the Primera line, the high-performance Tempo E220 saddle stitcher has been equipped with a new setup wizard, enabling even quicker changeovers. In addition, its energy consumption has been significantly reduced compared with the predecessor model. The degree of automation in the Primera 110 has been enhanced and, in order to meet the needs of individual customers, two automation levels are available: C110 and E110. The feeder, gathering chain, stitching machine and three-knife trimmer are automatically synchronized on both models. At IPEX in Birmingham, the Primera 160 was successfully showcased as the most efficient saddle stitcher in the mid-range segment, with an output of 16,000 cycles per hour. Now, in Oftringen, Muller Martini will demonstrate the comprehensive process supervision and good production reliability that the Primera 160 has to offer.

In addition to the short setup times resulting from reduced runs, the key areas of ‘networking’ and ‘high availability’ will also be placed under the spotlight. The Primera 160 and the Tempo 220 will therefore be coupled with the Connex workflow system from Muller Martini. In addition there will be live demos of the new MMRemote Service module, which reduces equipment downtime by up to 50 per cent.

International Open House in Maulburg (28 – 30 October)
Under the heading of ‘label and flexible package printing - the process’, Muller Martini will be at their Maulburg Training Center in Germany, from 28 to 30 October, demonstrating their high level of expertise in the labels and, in particular, the packaging markets. In addition to the well-established Alprinta V web offset printing press, there will also be the chance to see the relaunch of the VSOP machine with an emphasis on UV inertization and electron-beam hardening. The machine demonstrations will be complemented by expert presentations on the various specialist fields.

International Open House in Bad Mergentheim (18 – 20 November)
Muller Martini will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of its Diamant Bookline during an Open House which will take place from 18 to 20 November, in Bad Mergentheim, Germany. In the Hardcover-Forum the latest technical developments for flexible and efficient hardcover production will be presented.
